Happy Thanksgiving. This turney is my pet, his name is Tom (it took a long time to think of that one) and he will be decorating the yard instead of the table. Well, a lot has happened since my last post. I've moved further into the country. Ovilla and the surrounding area have grown tremendously, as has Texas. I now live in Waxahachie which is about 30 miles south of Dallas and the county seat of Ellis County. If I get nostalgic for traffic and congestion, I can always drive an hour into Dallas - so far I don't feel so inclined. I grew up in Southern California so I am really enjoying the open spaces and living with my horses, chickens, dogs, and Tom. |

Our blog (a web log or sort of online diary) is maintained by chief stall mucker, poop picker-upper and all around slave to the animals, Norma Epstein. I write it all myself (no Pulitzer or accolades necessary) and I take all the pictures with a Minolta digital camera. I take pictures and post to the blog whenever I find something interesting or have something interesting to say (and even sometimes when I don't).
